Dave Borton Coaching
Navigating change, digital overwhelm, and the mess and wonder of mid-life
I’ve spent most of my career in HR — consulting, leading, navigating, partnering, fixing, unfixing, listening, firefighting, and occasionally herding cats (you know how it goes).
I genuinely enjoy what I do. The work matters, the people are brilliant, and I still find it all fascinating.
And… I also have this quiet, persistent curiosity about what else might be possible.
Not a dramatic career pivot or a total reinvention — more like a gentle questioning:
🧭 Is this still the right rhythm for me?
💭 What would it look like to work differently — or live with a bit more space?
🤝 What happens when we create room for conversations that aren't about KPIs or budgets?
That curiosity led me to train as a coach. These days, alongside my HR role, I hold space for thoughtful, high-achieving humans who find themselves asking similar questions.
Not because something’s wrong — but because something’s shifting.
If you’re in that space too — thriving and wondering — I’m always open to a conversation. No agenda, no pitch. Just two humans making sense of things.
